    1. Chicken Soup for the Soul, fill in the blank for your choice of subtitle, in this case Christmas Treasury. You know the drill. Eight titles published each year, at one time always 101 stories (don’t know if that’s true any longer) that are sometimes joyful, often poignant, and always inspiring for me. I’ve said it before; “I’m a sucker for Chicken Soup”. This collection was published in 2001 and I’ve had it for many years dipping into it a bit each Christmas season when I felt the [...]

    2. Chicken soup is always a favorite of mine and these stories are always a sweet story about a family coming closer together or helping ones in need. Which is exactly what Christmas and everyday life is about. So I think not only is this a great book but a good example for everyone out there!

    3. I was hoping this book would get me in the Christmas spirit was mostly terrible.1. If being poor for Christmas makes you learn the true meaning of love and Christmas, why does everybody keep asking me for money?2. Some of the charity recipients had a lot of dignity and gave the stuff away.3. I LOVED the story, though, about the woman who was giving with an "uncheerful" heartd God showed her how He used it to bless a little girl. That made the book worthwhilend of.

    5. I love the Chicken Soup series of books. I like to keep them in the bathroom since they have nice short stories. There is a lot of emotional impact through the various stories, some make me laugh and others make me cry, but they all have a little something inspirational within them.

    8. “Chicken Soup for the Soul – Christmas Treasury” is a compilation of short Christmas stories from many contributors (authors). It has sections in the collection about “The True Meaning of Christmas”, “The Spirit of Giving”, “Yuletide Memories”, “Holiday Traditions”, Boughs, Holly, and Mistle Aneous”. Each section has a few Christmas stories that fit into the section theme.I found most of the Christmas stories to be okay but a few of the stories were fantastic, especially [...]

    9. This is not great literature, but a perfect ‘feel-good’ book to read for the holidays, sort of like watching a Hallmark movie. I particularly enjoyed the more classic additions, like rereading “The Gift of the Magi” by O. Henry and “An Account of a Visit by St. Nicholas” by Clement Moore along with the background of how this well-known poem was written back in 1822. Besides the heart-warming stories and essays covering not just Christian but Jewish traditions, there are numerous humo [...]

    10. I still own a copy of this book, thanks to my 7th grade history teacher, Mr. Almryde (sp?). He lent me his copy and I accidently-on-purpose still have it. :S Oops. Still, I really adore the Chicken Soup books. They have such uplifting stories. Even if there is an occasional sad one in them, there is always a lesson to be learned, or something to be gained from reading it!! I really miss that on a lot of published fiction. The Christmas Treasury is a great one to read during the holiday season. I [...]

    11. Suka semua edisi Chicken Soup. Amin ^_^
