    2. Of course there's a happy ending - it wouldn't be Kilala if there wasn't one! The road to happiness with her prince - and becoming a princess herself - isn't easy, but Kilala has the lessons from the Disney princesses to consider when battling the evil that continues to threaten Paradiso, with Rei by her side. 3. When I first picked this up I absolutely loved the idea of a manga with Disney princesses in it. Unfortunately, the series fell a little flat for me. Kilala was at best annoying and over the top girly. A little is ok but she is all hearts and butterflies up in her own little world. 4. Hm.Very good ending.I found the series to be overall very enjoyable and fun. It's something you should read if you like cute things, or are looking for a playful twist on the Kingdom Hearts series. The art is just amazing, and I liked how the traditional Disney princess style was kept but you could see just a touch of the mangaka's style come out in their expressions.I enjoyed this :3

    8. Kilala Princess the manga has the feeling of cheap fanfiction, it is Disneys' manga answer to Kingdom Hearts.Generic story lines, Mary Sues, badly written integration of Disney tropes and manga tropes. It drips with fluff and gender stereotypes. It to me a long time to get around to reading the last book in the series because I felt so dirty reading it.Perhaps the fact I feel shanme and disgust when reading Kilala Princess is a reflection of the misogyny in our society. Because this story is so [...]
