    1. Not very well written. It felt like the whole book was spent building up and setting up the story, I kept thinking "this must be where it starts getting good/interesting", and then it ended. This was a charming story of a couple whose relationship was filled with confusion as society continually whispered, shared gossip and their assumptions on how a young newly married Countess should appear before the Ton.     3. This was a fun read. Not memorable, but entertaining. And I definitely feel like for $1, I got a good bit of entertainment.The characters were likable and the story had a lot of potential, but it just didn't quite get there. The conflicts were set up and I was looking forward to seeing how it all played out, and then the ending unraveled for me.
