    1. This manga is amazingly intnese, the summary doesn't do it justice. Nino is a girl who has lived next door to Momo and loved him since they were small. They always sing together, but Nino has the voice. One day Momo's family abandons their home and they run off. Nino is heartbroken and later finds solace in another boy named Yuzu who writes songs. But he too leaves mysteriously. Then the story changes to highschool, where Nino finds Yuzu. But Yuzu has more secrets and feelings to keep, which Nin [...]

    5. Nino Arisugawa has always loved singing, but she’s been betrayed by it twice.First was when her best friend and singing partner Momo moved away with no warning, and then a second time when her friend and songwriter Yuzu equally suddenly stopped hanging out with her.Now in high school, Arisugawa wears a face mask at all times to keep herself from screaming out but when Yuzu suddenly reappears at her high school and circumstances force the two of them into performing together, it seems like her [...]

    7. A little slow in the beginning but once they're all together in school it definitely hits an interesting point. So many unrequited connections!! I'm really curious about what's up with Momo; super cute how he still tells terrible puns. Definitely wanting to know about about Yuzu's backstory as well. Lots of promise in this story!

    10. actual rating: 3.5that was a cute romance. the beginning was super weird though because they were kids and they act mature af which is irritating. but after chapter1, it's already pretty good, cute, and fluffy. art is also great -- feels very 'shoujo-manga' without the excessive use of 'glittery/sparkly' scenes. i'll definitely continue this series ❤❤❤volume 2 is when even?

    12. More reviews (and no fluff) on the blog surrealtalvi.wordpress/Anonymous Noise begins with the time honored shoujo manga cliche of girl meeting her 'love' at a very young age, he/she moves away, and then when starting high school, he suddenly appears very changed and not the same person (but, of course, still in love with our heroine). And in this manga's case, author Fukuyama ups the ante by adding a second boy and a music obsession. cue hospitalization for a medical condition that prevents sin [...]

    14. I hadn't realized that this was by the author of Nosatsu Junkie, which I read when Tokyopop released it. I was a rather big fan of that series, and was annoyed when they discontinued it. This gives me hope for Viz possibly picking up that series, at least digitally.Nino had a childhood best friend, Momo, and they would sing together when they felt like it. And then he moved away one day, without a word. While she's struggling with that, she meets Yuzu, who writes music, and writes her a couple s [...]

    15. Review for volumes 1, 2, 3:Way cuter than I expected - I thought this was one where I'd be able to read one volume and put it down but alas it was not. I didn't want to like it, but it sucked me in and I blew threw the 3 volumes I had on hand. Very fast paced, especially for a school story. Reminiscent of Nana - maybe just with the music plotlines. Like a rock version of My Lie in April only without the illness. For being about music/musicians, I have no idea what the music or singing is suppose [...]

    16. I almost gave this a 2 star, but the art pushed it to a .5 added. I love the art, it's easy on the eyes and doesn't get in the way of the story; the music notes in the background and the music is wonderfully done. I love music so I found that this added element was a focus for me and helped keep me engaged with the story even when I wasn't really connect with what was going on. This is a first volume, so a large part of this story was the setup, I'm going to continue reading in hopes that it wil [...]

    17. As children, Nino and Momo sang together and made each other happy. Then one day, Momo's family moves away and Nino can't stop screaming unless she wears a mask. Momo had told her that her voice would be a beacon that brings him back to her but all she feels she can do is scream. One day Nino comes across a boy who's writing music in the sand on a beach. She sings the music and for the first time feels she doesn't have to scream. They meet on Wednesdays so she can sing the music he writes. He tel [...]

    18. I am not really sure what to think. On one hand it was interesting and I am kind of curious about why the one boy moved away and what's going on with him now. But on the other hand, I am not sure I care enough to continue. I don't feel like the story ever fully pulled me in and I became invested in it at all. Plus the whole volume felt like a rushed prologue to gear us up to the main start. We've gotten all the background pieces but haven't done anything with them. I supposed that's part of my d [...]

    19. When Nino was young, her best friend moved away and left her wanting to scream at every moment of the day. Then she meets "eyelashes," and he writes songs for her, but then he disappears one day, and Nino is left sad once again.I really want to keep reading this series it is cute, and heart-wrenching all at once. It's a good series and I recommend it to people who like a cute romance.

    20. There is a lot of teen angst-y moments in this, so be prepared. Otherwise; if you can get past the artwork (it's not as polished as many of us are used to), it makes for an interesting story.I will continue on to vol. 2, but I may drop this at any time

    21. The creator is trying hard, cramming this book with secret pop stars, hidden talent, unrequited love and teen angst, but I'm not finding the end result particularly remarkable.

    27. Thought I was settling down to enjoy a light fluffy read, the blurb sure makes it sound that way. I wasn't prepared for it being so much, well more. Sweet, honest, funny, and touching, I can only hope this series maintains the level of excellence it has started with. Looks like I'll be on board for the whole ride, and I can't wait.

    29. see full review @ Katie's CornerI think this particular manga has been on my to-read list for at least half a year. Somehow, I always found other things to read or just plainly ignored it. And now for some reason, it is the very first one to be reviews on my blog. Fate? I don’t know about that. But as soon as I took up this manga the first 22 chapters went so fast I couldn’t believe myself, and then I was waiting for about 2 weeks for the next chapter to be translated. Now I have to wait for [...]
