    3. When I first picked this up I thought I would be reading about ghostly, creepy events, so I was a bit disappointed that was not the content. The mystery of an abandoned town with the photo of a chair sitting on what looks like white sand was intriguing, though. I think a number of students who like to read about skeletons and decay will enjoy this.It is noteworthy that Blake did a compare and contrast as part of the back matter.     4. This was a new book that came into the library. I read it because I had seen a show about Salton Sea. This is written for children but gives a good background about what happened to Salton Sea.
