    1. I remember that day, November 22, 1963, as though it were yesterday. I was a junior in high school. It was during 5th period that we heard the announcement that JFK had been shot. A few minutes later, in 6th period, we learned that he was dead. Because this was such a life-altering moment for me, I have read extensively on that day and on the Kennedys as well. This is a very short book--read it in one sitting--but an important one. So much happened on that flight from Dallas to DC. I found it fa [...]

    2. Brief but powerful account of a unique flight and turning pointGraff writes the rarest of assassination accounts, one that treats the Kennedy and Johnson camps with equal sympathy. His account sympathises most with the historical record. Many telling events of the most exquisite subtlety are related and the flight is comprehensively covered in the scope of a kindle single.

    3. Even though this is a short e-book for the Kindle it still packs an powerful punch. Very emotional short story about the flight back after JFK's assassination, paints a very vivid picture of what that flight must have been like for all those who experienced it. The description of Jackie's reactions to all the proceedings actually made me tear up a bit, and RFK's when he rushes to Air Force One upon landing. Well written piece.
